Integrated custom WordPress templates and functions into the college theme for the redesigned CLAS IT Connections Newsletter.

In order to maintain the current theme for the rest of the site and implement the new branding, the templates for the newsletter issues and articles were added using a custom plugin.

Skills Used

  • Designing layouts for custom post types and archive pages.
  • Using filters to use different template files for issue and article pages.
  • Integrating Bootstrap navigation with WordPress menus using a walker script.
